Longniddry Golf Club is one of many Clubs situated on Scotland’s Golf Coast. The Club was designed by Harry Colt in 1921 and parts of the course were subsequently redesigned by both James Braid and Philip Mackenzie Ross. Longniddry was an Open Qualifying course in 1987 and hosted the Scottish Open Qualifier in 2018 & 2019 and is due to host the Scottish Girls Championship in 2023.
The Club is recognised as a stern, but fair, test of golf for players of all abilities and is perhaps unique in being a course with no par 5s for men, although 8 of the par 4s are more than 400 yards.
