Situated close to the centre of the town of Castle Douglas, this attractive, tree-lined 9-hole parkland course is a very fair course for all levels of golfer. The course measures 5,400 yards for 18 holes, par 68, SSS 66.
The well laid out course’s greens and tees are superbly kept and are a pleasure to play. The parkland layout throws up some very interesting holes, particularly the third, with its plateau in front of the green. The course is relatively easy to walk with a carry bag. Alternatively, golf buggies and trolleys are available for hire at a very reasonable price.
Castle Douglas is a small market town with many independent shops and businesses. There are several hotels in town where golfers and non-golfers can enjoy a relaxing stay and explore the local area.
