The Ras Al Khaimah Championship is returning to Al Hamra Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates from January 23-26, 2025, and fans can register for free tickets here.
The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah hosted the DP World Tour for the first time in 2022 with the inaugural staging of the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, followed the week after by the Ras Al Khaimah Classic.
Following exciting victories that year for Danish Ryder Cup star Nicolai Højgaard and New Zealander Ryan Fox, and by Englishman Daniel Gavins when the Ras Al Khaimah Championship returned in 2023, the tournament continued its success last year when Denmark’s Thorbjørn Olesen sealed his eighth DP World Tour title.
The spectacular coastal venue of Al Hamra Golf Club hosts once again, with the Peter Harradine-designed layout having also previously welcomed three European Challenge Tour events, including the 2018 Challenge Tour Grand Final.
This year fans can once again enjoy free general admission with registration now open. Fans can upgrade their experience with early bird tickets now available for the Championship Chalet, granting you exclusive access to the clubhouse rooftop terrace for a luxurious view of the action from AED 875.
Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome back the DP World Tour to Ras Al Khaimah as part of its international tour, bringing golf’s top talent and fans to our destination for an unforgettable tournament week.
“Ras Al Khaimah Championship is a flagship event that not only brings together our local community and visitors to witness world-class golf but also experience the incredible beauty and hospitality of our emirate.”
Chris Atkinson, Championship Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, said: “The Ras Al Khaimah Championship has grown year on year, and it has now become a staple on the DP World Tour’s run of events in the Middle East.
“Al Hamra Golf Club is an excellent venue, and we are excited to welcome spectators back to the event as the stars of the DP World Tour fight for glory early on the 2025 Race to Dubai.”
The Ras Al Khaimah Championship will be one of three events in the United Arab Emirates and five in the Middle East as part of the International Swing on the 2025 Race to Dubai.
The tournament follows the Team Cup in Abu Dhabi and the first Rolex Series event of the season, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. It then precedes the second edition of the Bahrain Championship and another event to be confirmed.
There are five Global Swings in the first part of the season, with the International Swing running from January to March. Each Swing will have its own identity and its own Champion who will each earn $200,000 from an overall $1million Bonus Pool. Swing Champions will also qualify for each of the ‘Back 9’ events later in the season.
Registration for free tickets for the 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Championship is open now here.
